Short KNMV Rookie Course

The Short Motocross Rookie Training (KMRT) stems from theMX Master Planand may be seen as an aptitude test.

This course must be completed before the license can be used.

Why?

The KMRT has been prescribed to new, just starting, licensees since 2021 in the context of safety. Every year there are an x number of accidents where the cause is the inexperience of a driver. More specifically, many of those accidents stem from a lack of adequate risk recognition when the rider is active on a motocross track. We want to counter that with this training.

By completing a KMRT, the rider is well prepared for the rest of his/her motocross career.

The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part.

The approach is not to let riders down. We just want to properly prepare riders for the dangers of the sport.

Both parts deal with the basic knowledge and skills when one is active on a motocross circuit.

This course is a one-time investment for the future.

The KMRT is given at locations across the country.

Cost

A participant pays € 40,- for the course. This fee benefits the club and trainer(s).
